Headhunter

Gina and Rick are on the road together after Nan's funeral and both have a couple of secrets they are not willing share. As they get closer to Nan's special place, where she was born, the secrets come to life in a way the cousins could not have expected. Set in a gorgeous red Holden EH and with a puppet world stashed under the dash, this show is fast, funny and moving in more ways than one.

Headhunter is a fast and funky show with a rocking soundtrack. It's the story of a car journey full of surprises, a puppetry piece with a pop music soundtrack, with a visual form of theatre making the show very accessible regardless of language. Headhunter won the Drama Victoria Award in 2005 for Best Performance by a Theatre Company for Primary Students.

Headhunter was created in collaboration with Ilbijerri Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Theatre Co-operative.
