Play Space Projects
Polyglot creates new Play Space Projects in which children use simple materials in extraordinary ways to create highly participatory artistic playgrounds. Commissioned by festivals, venues or communities, the projects explore a simple artist's concept in a hands-on creative experience for children.
Play Space Projects take the form of interactive installations; they are part-visual art project and part performance, frequently activating public spaces or responding to particular spaces as site-specific works. They are flexible and dynamic in both form and concept, and are designed to test new ideas quickly with an emphasis on simplicity, imagination and active participation.
